I purchased something like this long ago and everything stuck to it and was impossible to clean so I threw them away. THIS product is excellent! Dishwasher safe, nothing sticks! I have learned over the years to NOT use nonstick cooking spray (Pam) because it leaves a gluey residue that is very hard to remove from cookware. Now I use oil or butter but the most nonstick is butter. I unwrap half the stick and swirl it lightly around the inside of the egg mold. No sticking of the egg, no weird residue. Easy peasy! Homemade Mc Muffin style sandwiches, pancakes or omelet sandwiches quickly!for the most part these are really nice and they work quite well. the only problem i have with them is the handles.. i really wish they would "lock" in place better and fold out just a lil bit more just to get them a lil more out of the way. the locking part is the bigger issue just because they can easily be knocked back down so when you first use them you may get a little frustrated but after a couple times you learn what not to do. it would just be nice if they could get them to lock in place a little better. other than that these are some really nice egg molds! i am also glad for the square shaped ones as well for when i want it to fit/fill in a regular toasted sandwich.These do exactly what they are expected to do, they make perfect eggs. They don’t stick, they are easy to clean and they are affordable. 100% would recommend this to anyone who love breakfast!Let's just say my girlfriend was impressed with my breakfast!?I followed the instructions exactly and the egg ring did not leak. Popped them in dishwasher and they are ready to use again.These really need to be heavier. Egg seeps right under the frame - not a lot, but enough to make what I want to be a square egg to put between two pieces of toast for an egg sandwich to be shaped more like a square egg with appendages. Am going to keep these because I've used them already and don't want to hassle with returning them. Besides, who knows? They might work better with pancake batter.Quite simply they are easy to use and to clean up. Few frying pans have really flat surfaces so these rings do a decent job of containing your egg(s). Its nice to get both roud and square shapes to accommodate round muffins/buns and standard sliced bread.I read where some reviews said eggs would leak out underneath. I decided to try and didn't have this happen. I suspect by having the temperature up higher the egg white cooks faster giving no time for leaks. Perfect round eggs for muffins.
