All American is pretty well known for being the best of the best in their arena. After an old style pressure cooker of theirs from the 60's malfunctioned at the weight and gauge simultaneously (causing a massive overpressure condition that it still handled safely), I know AA was my top choice for life. This little unit does it's job very well, allows you to set your desired PSI, and is sturdy enough that I expect I'll have to for years. A few things to note that aren't really cons, just important to know before you buy. The onboarding mechanical timer does NOT cut power once it runs out, it only rings to let you know to come kill power and vent steam. Secondly, the adjustment dial just has power numbers, not a psi setting. It's pretty easy to figure out your sweet spot the first use, and you can just leave it at that setting, but it does take a few steps. In addition, the unit has a wide amount of "swing" between cutting off and kicking back on, about 5 PSI. Not a big deal, because the temp/pressure ends up right in the middle, but worth noting.
