Great investment for you and your family. First I must say Customer service for this bike has been phenomenal. I appreciate their quick responses and decided to buy another one because I’m so happy with them. The bike was easy to put together and performed very well. The first day I rode nearly 50 miles and it encouraged me to get great exercise it’s like you try to out pace the battery assist. There are 5 different speeds for the bike that you can easily set while moving, and this makes for safe operation. There are two different ways to use the battery assist. You can simply turn the throttle which is about half of the right handle or you can set speed 1 through 5 and start off peddling when you reach the threshold of a speed you set, the battery will start kicking in to maintain your speed. I found the cruise control very effective and very comfortable. I also found the seat to be a bit hard, (but it seems high quality) so customer service sent me a new seat with a special airbag system. But even so you’re not really supposed to sit down all day long even when riding a bike. So when I wanted a break from sitting I stood up on pedals and found the bike very stable. This bike is quite large and I am kind of big myself I’m about 6 feet and I weigh about 185 pounds, but this bike easily accommodates my size and a friend liked it that is 6’3”. I am so pleased that I’m going to be ordering another one of these today. Then I will have two batteries as well and will easily be able to go 100 miles in a day. The big fat tires are very stable when exiting off the road the front suspension is also very good. I didn’t realize how fun it would be to get this bike my only regret is I did not order it at the beginning of spring. Oh one more thing that I didn’t see a mention of… The horn is awesome and it’s fun to scare people with it, it’s plenty loud.Alot of hype about these things - and how in general: whichever company you choose to purchase from - they're all essentially built from the same hands - in the same locations. So word to the wise - be selective and careful on how you price these. With that out of the way - I got a very good price on this, it's something I wish I would have done much much sooner! I'm 5 11" 138 lbs, and I only ride with my gear (drone/camera/backpck) which at least adds 20 more lbs - yet in a normal flat road - I can easily cruise between 36 to 37 mph. I've already put 200 miles on this thing. The only small gripe I have is how there doesn't seem to be a guide/manual on how to perform your own maintenance... I went online and looked - couldn't locate. I'd like to adjust the sensitivity of the brake levers - as lately - squeezing both of them still lacks the confidence it only just had a week ago. This is also pretty subdue flashy - if you don't have a garage - and honestly - doesn't matter if you're in a nice area or lower class - this baby will be stolen in a heart beat. I keep it locked up when I'm out and about - but when home - I can easily tote it up my stairs, fold it in half, and it snugs up in my laundry room (super convenient). It's overall just a no brainer, if you don't have a license - here you go. If you like to bike, but maybe are suffering with arthritis - here you go! I love this thing very much. This is my first E-bike. I did a ton of research before buying. Was looking at Lectric and Rattan. The Vitilan is a 750w hub and easily capable of 30+ mph. Also I preferred the look of the alloy wheels vs the spoked wheels on the lectric. Otherwise, the bikes are nearly identical in design. I waited it out for a few weeks and the price dropped to $1239 minus a $200 coupon.Pros1. Came packaged extremely well. Foam wrap zip tied to nearly every bar. Bike came folded position in a large cardboard box. No damage upon delivery. Battery was charged to 2 bars.2. Adjustability of the seat and handle bars is a breeze.3. Looks awesome.4. Plenty of power. 5 levels of peddle assist. 7 speed gearbox. I am 6'2" 200lbs and it will go 35mph no problem.4. 20" x 4" wide tires.Cons:1. Little difficult to fold for transport.2. Headlight and front fender needed adjusted and only held on with a single weak bracket. Fender vibrates quite a bit while riding.3. Rubber cover for the charging port doesnt fit well and doesnt stay in place, so moisture and dirt could get into it possibly.4. Grey color option on Amazon shows as flat black, but it is actually gunmetal grey. So its deceiving.I only have 25 miles on the bike so far and cant speak of range per charge because I havent done any long trips. I will follow up in a few months with an update.I'm a 72 year old guy and I've been having a blast on this bike. I gave up motorcycles after getting run off the road by distracted drivers one too many times and this has been the perfect way for me to continue having fun in my life!My legs aren't what they used to be due to knee and foot problems and the pedal assist mode allows me to use as little or as much help on my ride as needed. I've really been impressed with the power this little bike has and find that 33 mph on a bicycle is plenty fast to move my 220lbs around for as long as I want to ride. The bike is of excellent quality and workmanship and I love that I can fold it up and put it in my car to get it to nearby bike paths! Now that I've been riding it for a while I would say that I would upgrade to the V5 for the full suspension and more powerful battery but I have a suspension seat post on order that should enable me to extend my rides as my rear end is ready to quit long before the battery is!
