I purchased these pings because I have a set of cheaper Ping tuners on one of my guitars that have always worked great. I had an another set of tuners, from another maker, that the gear broke on the low e string. I have purchased other tuner from companies where they look very nice but the price is low and had bad luck, but those cheaper Ping tuners I have on another guitar are old and still work great, so I purchased these, which are Pings high end tuners for Classical guitars. When taken out of package you can tell these are clearly really well made.I have some comparable Gotoh tuners and thesecare even nicer than them. The gears are very robust-and well made. I have used tuners by Alice, Mr. Power, Tenor, and Golden gate and these Pings are way way nicer and work much better. The tenors look and felt nice but I had two different models and neither lasted long. The one issue I had is that I purchased these cheaper than anywhere else from this seller and 3 of the screws were missing. It s not a big deal for me bacause I have screws from other failed tuners I purchased over the years, but It is probably why the seller listed the tuners so cheap, much cheaper than the price they are selling for now, that why only 4 stars from me.If all the screws were in the package, the rating would be 5 based on quality to price ratio. Also the top screw holes don’t line up on my guitar but that is not unusual to happen.
