Overall, this is an excellent frame and I'm really surprised at how much you get for $150 (on sale). Even at $200 this is a great value. It is a heavy, sturdy frame with a decent enamel finish on it, plenty of welds and thick metal to support everything. Regarding the finish I dropped a metal tape measurer from about 3 ft an it didn't scratch or dent the finish at all so I feel confident about that too. Nothing felt flimsy or cheaply done. The screws are great quality and they're put in good locations as well. The adjustability of the table is great and I wouldn't worry using the maximum length of the table at all with a heavy slab on top. The assembly is quite easy and I put a butcher block on mine and it matches the durability perfectly.I also liked the controller as well, the screen is a good brightness and turns itself off after a little so you don't have another light on while you sleep. Using the controller was also easy and the buttons are nice and clicky. I really like that they included error codes and their meaning in the manual as well e.g. if the motor overloaded. The design looks good and far better than some of the other controllers I saw while shopping. The motor is quite quiet, not perfectly silent but not bothering at all.My only negative about this desk is that one of the bolt holes on the motor side was not fully tapped so it started to ruin the bolt and I made a small scratch trying to remove the semi stuck bolt. Fortunately I have a tap and die set I used to repair both threads, but it's pretty unacceptable in general to have a failure like that especially considering most people don't have those tools lying around. The paint also made tightening some of the bolts a little concerning with how much resistance they had, so that's something to look out for.Additionally, I would buy some double sided mounting adhesive for this desk if you choose to buy it, as otherwise the power brick just hangs off of the controller which is not good for either. The wire length from the power brick to the controller is fairly short (~6 inches) but the wire from the wall to the power brick is long (~5ft) so it makes sense to mount the brick on the desk itself as it will never touch the ground. It happens to be the exact width of the leg so it works out pretty well especially if you mount it towards the top. I highly recommend using 3M VHB which is used for holding automotive trim and it worked perfectly on the enameled metal. This is another thing that should be included, or otherwise the controller side of the power brick should have the long cable not the wall side. Don't worry about cable management - it comes with four sticky wire routing thingies and they are great quality too.Overall I think this is a perfect standing desk frame - it looks good, is a great price, and is built well. The electronics also work well and I have no doubts about it. Watch out for the screws, and don't force them if they're really hard to turn.Very happy with this product because it helped make a great sit stand desk for my wife. I chose this one because it could accommodate the weight of the Butcher block top I used. The set up wasn’t the most difficult thing I’ve ever done but requires a little bit of patience and space. Depending on how heavy your tabletop is, you should get a little help. Cable management was the most challenging part. Consider getting a product that works well with maneuvering past the motor and other electronics. Fairly simple to program and even easier to use. No reason to buy the most expensive one out there. No issues after a few months of use. This desk was easy to assemble and looks great with the mahogany top I built.
