This is a great album. It's not as much of a standout as W.A.S.P, Last Command, or Headless Children, but it's a fun album that largely sticks to the formula of most early W.A.S.P albums. It's not quite as heavy as the other albums either, but still very much metal. The Big Welcome: A track that serves as the intro to ITEC, and nothing else. Not even worth rating.Inside The Electric Circus: Excellent title track and first true track. It follows the formula of putting a fast "pump up" track first. It feels like it could've been on the debut album. 5/5Don't Need A Doctor: A cover track, but W.A.S.P puts their own spin on it, much like their cover of Paint it Black. 5/59.5 Nasty: W.A.S.P usually puts an overtly sexual song on each album, and ITEC is no exception. In this case, it has to do with a sex-line, which most people are probably unfamiliar with now due to the advent of internet porn. Great dirty song, much like Animal or Sex Drive. 5/5Restless Gypsy: Very similar title to Wild Child, and it has a great drive to it. 5/5Shoot From The Hip: Very similar song to Blind in Texas. Seeing a recurring theme here? W.A.S.P tends to release somewhat similar songs, and doesn't differ from its formula much. Whether this is good or bad to you depends on personal preference. For me, though? 5/5I'm Alive: Has a driving beat behind it, kind of like Barracuda by Heart. Blackie's vocals are pretty raw on this track, and it sounds great. 5/5Easy Living: Another fast song, and it has a great solo. Not too memorable, but it's enjoyable. 4/5Sweet Cheetah: A quieter song, but still retains the speed that the other tracks have. 4/5Mantronic: One of the slower songs on the album, and it's nice to have a little bit of variety. Also not very memorable, and for some reason, it reminds me of Psychotron by Megadeth. 4/5King of Sodom and Gomorrah: A song with some biblical basis for it, referencing the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, destroyed for their hedonistic lifestyles. 4/5The Rock Rolls On: The speed is back, and this is one of the best tracks on the album, with an infectious chorus and excellent vocals. 5/5Flesh and Fire: Standard W.A.S.P song, great solo. 4/5D.B. Blues: Short for Douchebag Blues, this seems to be a joke song, and it's kind of fun. 4/5Overall, ITEC is a great album, and stands right up with its predecessors. Its only shortcoming is the lack of a ballad style song, like Sleeping in the Fire from the debut, or Cries In The Night from Last Command. ITEC delivers the kind of debauchery and crudeness that one would expect from W.A.S.P, and while it doesn't make any great leaps forward, it's a fun album that delivers more of what made the first two albums good. If it's not broke, don't fix it.
