But when you plug it into an amp, it shines. This violin is well designed and well made. It has plenty of tone and the electronics are solid. Not worth buying, it’s cracked in multiple places, no way to keep it in tune the knobs are so poorly made. The “hair” on the bow was broken and fraying off. The strings are what appear to be old guitar strings that sat in a warehouse for years and years before they put them on this. It feels like a $10 toys r us toy not a instrument. Save the hassle just don’t get this in the first place.
