The 36 inch cooktop is a great size for cooking for a family. This replaces an old electric cooktop that we had.I had to call installers to help me with this only because I needed additional space to be cut for this to fit.Heating is excellent and easy to read/understand controls on this unit. By far its multiple times better than our last cooktop.One thing I would suggest though is to add some trim around the edges to protect the glass from bumps from pans/pots/dishes. You dont need to go for the expensive chrome trim either. What I ended up doing is just adding molding around the edges. Your pick on style. and Its cheap to do vs the hundreds on good trim to protect the edges.I also like the safety lock as well as the timer and the heat warning that the cooktop has on it.Overall - very happy with this cooktop and for the price. I definitely would recommend this to anyone looking for a large electric cooktop.
