Did as much research as I could and gave this a try. Looked for a 1/4 od water valve that I could run from a WiFi plug for a plant watering application. In my case rhe controls are all inside, only the water lines run outside. It seemed that just about every other product either required 12V or 24V which would add a transformer to my project- maybe not a problem for every application. Also some reviews on this and similar valves is that they can run warm or hot. I will be running just a few minutes a day from late spring to early fall, so I probably can't comment on longer operation times. I am hoping that the reliability over time is good but even if it fails I will likely replace it based on the functionality that works best for me.
