This Trlec Strat copy is the same guitar as offered by Katxon in the same finish - I own 2 Ktaxons (blue and red), and this white guitar by Trlec with the Sunburst version already shipped and on its way. I own lots of guitars of many different makes (M-Musi, Donner, Asthorpe, Ibanez, Yamaha, Ktaxon and Trlec) and do my own self-taught luthier work on them. These Ktaxon and Trlec guitars are beautifully finished, sound nice and compare favorably with other makes and models, and the bonus is the basswood 'tonewood' body and neck makes for a very light, stable and strong guitar - a real advantage. I've purchased these guitars as 'project guitars' to upgrade with fully loaded pic guards as shown already installed on the blue and red models pictured. I remove the strings, pic guards, polish the frets, replace the plastic nut with a bone nut, polish the neck and headstock a little, oil the fretboard with coconut oil (won't go rancid), install the new fully loaded pic guard and new strings, and set the action. Aside from my 'project' choice, these guitars stand well on their own accord and don't need to be upgraded, and are suitable for beginner and intermediate players, as well as for kids and small adults as their light weight is a real advantage. These light weight, solid constructed, well finished guitars (well packaged for shipping in molded styrofoam), are excellent guitars and a great value for money!
