I use it for clipping my dog.Works well for being brand new. Do not use on a dirty pet or the blade dulls down fast.Bought this for use with my clip combs. Came brand new sharpened and ready to go very happy with itGrooming was a lot easier with a new sharp blade.I ordered an Andis and an Oster 7F blade at the same time. The Oster blade was dull out of the package and wouldn't cut my Golden Doodle's very clean coat. The Andis blade was sharp and worked great. But with great customer service, the Oster company sent me a replacement blade immediately upon learning about my situation.I have an Aussiedoodle with a very thick coat. It doesn't cut deep into the coat but trims enough to keep her looking goodAs expectedWhen the doodle hair is so thick it kills blades in an eye blink- yes I needed these and probably should have ordered a couple more lengths while I was thinking about it.I have 5 mini wire dachshunds who hate being stripped and was costing me a fortune at the groomers..so 3yrs ago i invested in some oyster clippers and have never looked back...this is the 3rd replacement blade i have ordered from this supplier and i cant fault them at all..the blade lasts about 12months clipping 5 mini hounds about 12 times a year if not more....very sharpe no dragging or knicking of the skin..i keep it clean and well oiled..i would highly recommend this blade 5☆I am so pleased, I researched oster website and realised I needed another blade. This model is actually for spaniels, cuts the coat so easy and looks professional, my back don't ache like it did before. Glides through coat as described and my working cocker has a very thick coat.Never had any issues with this blade and is a great between blade from the 5 coarse cut and 10 fine cut for ears. Definitely would recommend it. Very well made and no issues.I love how this brand cut and feel. Longest lasting blade I've found BUT once I've had it sharpened that seems to be the end of its life. No sharpness, no amazing strokes just... tufts being pulled outI purchased my first pair of Oster clippers this week and I purchased this blade to go with it. I have to say it is excellent, cuts through hair like a knife through butter. I have a very old Golden Retriever who loves to swim and roll in mud. His hair is thick and matted(despite grooming) and to keep him comfy in the hot weather I used this blade which a lot of people moan about for a goldie as it is quite short. The whole job took 40mins, so quick and smooth. The blade doesnt get warm and the dog was comfrotable. Highy reccommend.
