This thing saved my butt. For $20 I was able to replace the lock on my Lectric bike. It kept me from having to spend $300 on a new battery. The install difficulty on a scale of 1 to 10 is a 10. It took the wife and I a couple of hours to pull this one off but we got it done and if we can, you probably can too. Good Luck
