Overall I like it especially for the price, but the main thing that caught my eye was all of the plastic melted onto the electrical cord. It looks like styrofoam (the rest of which was flaking creating clingy snow everywhere). I managed to scrape most of it off and am assuming it was a factory thing since I didn’t see any true damage to the cord. But definitely fully inspect it as your assembling, plastic wrapper was also caught in the base which I had to try to get out (seeing how melting is a concern). Other than that pretty great. I noticed a dent in the pole and the base was pretty dirty, a little wobble but stands relatively straight. Looks greatI bought this to house my GE grow light bulb for a cute looking grow light. The bulb is admittedly pretty heavy, but I have to weigh the base of this down or it’ll tip.HAS A YELLOW GOLD TINT TO IT. I got this a few months back and it's good. If not assembled correctly, it will lean to the side. Other than that, this is perfect!I like the shape and quality of this lamp, but I chose it because it was listed as brass and it is a gold finish, not brass, which I didn't want. Still not sure if I'm keeping it, but I really like everything else about it other than the color.The lamp comes partially assembled with the decorative finial cap already screwed on to the shade; you have to unscrew it from the shade to attach the lighting component and lamp base, then re-screw on the decorative finial cap to complete the assembly. But the finial cap came screwed on *so* tight, it was impossible to remove without using a clamp wrench - everyone in my household tried their hardest, but the machining process or packaging process or something waaaay overtightened the finial to the point it was impossible to remove without a tool. Well, the clamp wrench we had to use did unscrew the finial, but not without scratching and gouging it. The finial has a gold finish, but after finally getting it off with the clamp wrench it's streaked with gouges, exposing the cheaper silvery-colored composite material underneath. It's not visible unless you're within 3-4 feet, but you can definitely see it. Too bad, because the lamp has really great lines and is a good weight otherwise. I wouldn't take the risk to buy again.I wanted to take a star off for the mess the Styrofoam made in my home. Still stuck to dog and cabinets. But. If you can get past that the lamp is worthwhile. Sturdy, straight. Easy to assemble. Good for adding a little light in a dark area.I read all the reviews but was so in love w/ the lamp that I decided to take a chance. It's AMAZING. I love it. I have it in my office cubicle behind a chair and it is so stylish and fun. And the price couldn't be beat. True to the reviews there was one section that I don't know if it's not threaded correctly or what, but no matter what I couldn't get it to tighten all the way down. So there's about a1/4" gap that shows of the threading but that part is behind a chair, no one will ever see it, so I'm ok w/ it. It sure didn't dissuade me enough from buying the lamp. I guess it would make a big difference if those pieces were showing, like some of of the top connections. But overall, great lamp for the money. Just know the reviews aren't wrong and you may take that risk.Originally I wanted Arc Floor Lamp, however due to space constrains, I was looking for alternative.And this is when I found this lamp. My husband ordered it for me for Mother's Day. How excited I was to open it.The color/finish are just perfect and match the base of our coffee table. The lamp goes beautiful with the brick wall and our sofa. I'm yet to install our roman shade, but 'm sure they will go together perfectly.The assembly was super easy, took me maybe 5 minutes. E26 bulb is required and NOT included.The lamp is very sturdy.Lastly the price is great!I highly recommend this lamp as a decorative accent, and to make any reading spot a beautiful one.Really gorgeous, great quality...but not what I’m looking for. I was looking for a lamp that would light up the whole room but this works almost as a spot light and should be used with another light to light the room. Attached in the picture I have it on vs. An IKEA lamp (I was hoping to replace with this)This light only lights up the area it’s pointing at (it’s a lot darker in person...the new iPhone does night mode so it lightened up the shot)So if your getting this as a reading light - go for it. Getting it as a light to light up a room...look elsewhere.But it is gorgeous and heavy.Item came but there is pretty bad discolouration of the light cover. Will try furniture polish or barkeepers friend but I’m not sure it can be polished away. Not worth the money. The seller shipped a second lamp and it was better but there was inconsistent colour on the pole sections of the lamp. Lamp will be hiding behind a large piece of furniture so it shouldn't be too noticeable but I won't be ordering any more products from this company.I included two photos in my review. One with the lamp turned off, during the day, with the room light on. The second is with the lamp turned on, at night, with all other lights turned off. This is so you all can see how much light this lamp casts. It’s wonderful. I assembled it myself with the lamp laying on the floor, and had absolutely zero issues. It’s sturdy, and I’ve had no issue with the gold covering/paint. I would purchase an additional one in the future.This lamp is beautiful!It looks extremely expensive without it being so.It was extremely easy to assemble, maybe took all of 5 minutes.The base is nice and heavy, very sturdy and the lamp isn't easy to push over, which is a bonus with smaller children.Its a lovely brushed gold finish on the lamp.The reason i gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the lamp i received had black scuff mark on it that i cant get off.El diseño es muy bonito y lo había encontrado en una tienda como en 18 mil pesos.
