I should admit at the outset that I'll never cook on these griddles. I wanted a non-rustable shelf to replace the original wood that came from the factory on the front of my offset barrel smoker 30 years ago. Two of these side by side are perfect for my needs. That being said, the griddles are quite stiff and the quality of the casting appears excellent. They are very well designed for their intended use, and I'm confident that anyone looking for an aluminum griddle to pair with the intended stove won't be disappointed.
