As such, I use this bag a lot for storage and when needed transport. The two zippers allow me to meet in the middle and use the handle welded on the ridiculously heavy griddle as opposed to the ones on the bag. I suppose I should be able to trust them, but it's so heavy and I can use the metal one, so why not.Anyway, the bag fits as you'd expect, and while the weight of the griddle makes any operation cumbersome, the zipper and overall design do their part to help. 5 stars for the solid build, great fit, double zippers (which allows me to use the metal handle on the griddle), and overall design than makes adding/removing the griddle as easy as it could be.This is pretty much the only option out there for the SG100 griddle top. LOVE the top, used it this weekend for the first time and I feel as if I am a master (woodland) chef now!The bad news is this bag. Put the griddle in it the day it arrived to ensure that it fit (bought the wrong one before this) and set it on the garage floor, standing up, leaning against stuff. Maybe moved it 2 or 3 times before setting out to camp this weekend and there is a cut in it right where the sharp edge of the back plate that sits on the grill is. Only like 2 inches long, but really, this bag is made specifically for this griddle and Camp Chef did not think of this? Very poor quality.I was covering the griddle in an old towel to help keep the grease from getting all over the bag, now I wrap the towel around the whole thing to make sure there are no new cuts in the bag. Makes the bag really tough to close, but it does.Will keep using this one as it is still usable, but I expected the same quality in the bag as the stoves themselves...disappointed.If you are looking for something to cover your three-burner griddle used on Camp Chef stoves, then this is adequate. The material is the same used for their other Camp Chef carry bags and the zipper is of good quality. My issue is with the bag's design. The straps that make up the handles do wrap around the bag, which ensures that the bag shouldn't totally fall apart while you are carrying it. This could be improved if they redesigned the bag to include a shoulder strap. The three-burner griddle is heavier (or at least seems heavier) than my three-burner stove and having a shoulder strap would make it easier to carry. In addition, given the weight of the griddle, they should have opted for a heavier weight material. The material they used works and is adequate, but given the weight and size of the griddle, however, the material will wear out if you use the griddle and bag regularly. As far as the bag's size is concerned, the griddle fits in and out of the bag with no problems once you have it "in there" like it is supposed to be. (This is true for all of the Camp Chef bags I own.)Having said that, you really don't have much of a choice if you want something like this to put your griddle in, especially the 3-burner griddle. As far as I can tell, there are no competing products on the market, so it's a take-it-or-leave it type deal. I think it's generally worth the money, but don't expect anything more than an item that's simply adequate. My only issue with it is that it doesn't unzip all the way to lay flat in the table, so you can then set ther griddle on it and zip it closed. Instead you have to try to hold the bag and very heavy griddle and slide it in. Which isn't easy.This is a great idea To carry your griddle . The down side of this product is the material is to weak for the weight of the griddle . If you slide the bag with griddle in it it wears a hole immediately! It needs a reinforced bottom !I like the high quality of workmanship! For my griddle.Perfect fit on grillThe bag is very strong and makes carrying easy as the griddle is quite heavy.
