My only negative, not a biggie, is; the wires are easily felt. That's not always the case with heating blankets. That might be what makes it light weight. Otherwise, the increments of heat are not extreme to each other. I've been able to locate the right temp for the occasion. The feel is soft if not plush, and the variation of textures from sherpa to velvety is satisfying to touch. Mine is blue and it's a nice blue to catch in passing by. Mine is really the color in my photos which look richer than the photos on the Amazon page. The pictures I took were upon arrival. The lines aren't visible after nearly a month. The bed in the photo is queen size and the coverage on a queen works fine for heat distribution.I suppose that tag on the blanket is a little prominent but I've placed mine underneath another sherpa-type blanket. For photo demo it's on top of the bed. The stitching seems like it will last without coming undone and the cord arrangement is fairly long at just about 13 feet, YES, 13 feet. Gotta love that. Machine washable, score again.Unplugged it makes for a throw blanket and plugged in its super easy to set the temp and timing. Nice and flat within the blanket too, so it's easy to reach and work with. If you're done before the time is up, just hit the power button to shut it off. It's already right there. I'm glad I got this and look forward to a long, cozy relationship.
