I spend time in my garage because I won't smoke in the house, and it gets darn cold in the winter. I had been using an infrared heater, which was never very effective. I bought this Presto Heat Dish, and it puts out an awesome amount of heat. I've never even tried using it above a medium setting.There are several warnings that came with this heater about the potential of hyperthermia, getting too hot if not careful or conscientious, and I can understand why. It costs a bit more than your typical ceramic or infrared heater, but I feel it was well worth the investment.
