This heated blanket was everything I was looking for… it’s so soft and cozy, it’s so big, I can wrap myself up in it. It was evenly heated and I loved that I had so many options for temperature control! It’s been so cold recently and it really made me feel so comfy cozy! But this is the second time I’ve gotten this blanket and both times it stopped working randomly on me. It won’t turn on no matter what I do. I have to return this one now. I’m very sad because I was so excited about having one. It was something I always wanted. I wish there was a way to make it turn on again.I love the blanket, it heats well and is very soft, however, the plug is at the top of the blanket which I find odd. Past blankets had the plug on the bottom. There's no option to flip the blanket where the plug is at the bottom, since the controller is hardwired in.This blanket is extremely cozy and soft. I love that about it. The wire distribution is such that they don’t reach all the way to the blanket edge. They’re meant to heat the part of the blanket you sleep under, can’t fault that. My only concern is that heats too well. I use it every night, even in my air-conditioned house, for the coziness factor. It only needs to be set on the first notch to heat me sufficiently. The first night, I set it on the third notch and nearly cooked. It works better than other blankets I’ve used, but caveat emptor.I love this blanket the only thing that I am concerned about it when it is set above 3 the control gets a little hotter then I am comfortable with. Not sure why as other blankets did not have that issue.I liked the heat distribution and the softness. I found after a few uses that I liked the lowest setting or else the second lowest, but mostly the lowest. I'm just trying to keep my feet warm without necessarily wanting use enough juice to heat the entire room; this the blanket does admirably.I had a hard time making the temperature control work at first, but as time went on, I got so that I could get what I wanted in one or two tries. I don't know what I'm doing differently, but I always just automatically do it correctly now. My guess is that there is a subtle timing difference in how I'm pressing the buttons. Practice makes perfect. That would be my only complaint, but otherwise I'm happy.Once I had mine my daughter wanted one and I bought one for my mother for Christmas great purchase retailers easy to work withMy father needed the a soft and warm bed. At his age the weight of his new blanket does not appear heavy. All around the blanket is a win win.Blanket is very soft. Heat distribution is not 100% even, with a few extra hot spots. Blanket stopped working after about 2 1/2 months of use.
