I was an early adopter of the Hellraiser Hybrid and had always been a staunch Ibanez supporter, but with this guitar I am now a lifelong fan of Schecter, and will probably also buy the 7 string version as well! The build quality on this guitar is incredible, and no element of quality is lost in Schecter's BPO to South Korea. This guitar has unbelievable sustain, better than any other production guitar I have ever played and is a prize in my collection! I was most impressed by the rosewood fingerboard, you have to get in very close to tell it is real wood, it is so incredibly fine grained. Also, since it is hard to tell from pictures/descriptions, although the EMG 57/66 sets come stock from EMG with their solderless wiring kits, this IS SOLDERED and that is the only thing that I would consider "upgrading" on this guitar, but probably not. The aesthetics of this guitar are amazing as well. I have had other quilted maple guitars that are supposed to be "black" but only look so in certain light, this guitar looks amazing in all light, the paint is a true black and the craftsmanship is apparent in all elements of the guitar. The back of the neck is a true work of art, the genius of Schecter to have both gloss and matte paint is awesome to see in person, and it is incredibly easy to play to the 24th fret, low E if you so desire. I would recommend this guitar to anyone who has become accustomed to a Wizard or Wizard II neck, it is a very easy transition and Schecter's neck joint feels very comfortable even after hours of playing. If you are looking for an active humbucker guitar for any type of music, but especially hard rock and metal, you would doing yourself a disservice to not pick this one up!
