Bought this element to replace the one in my husband's little grill; he loves it. It heats hotter, faster, & more consistantly than the original element did. We are completely satisfied with it, only regret is that we waited so long to get this one. He has a short, Americana Grill by Meco Corp, he likes the size & set up of the grill, but it never heated worth a darn, (never got above 250 degrees), & then the element went out. He decide to try a new element before junking the whole grill & we are really glad he did. He didn't even have to make any adaptations to the pit for it to fit. He is planning on ordering another of these elements to put into the tall Americana Grill that he has, (it works better than the short one did, but not nearly as well as this element does. Highly recommend this product.
