Griddle is built well and heats up fast. Many of the smaller portable griddles are not designed well and don't generate enough heat. I just sent a new 17" Blackstone back that could cook a hamburger in 30 minutes, if there was a slight wind. Not this one, the 24,000 BTUs, 3 burners and a good design does the job.
