Update: After 3 years it is starting to near the end, which isn't bad for a non-stick pan, all of which have a one to three year life. The coating it starting to bubble and I plan on tossing it. This pan hasn't warped like all the cheaper ones I owned, and I won't change my 5 star rating. That said, my replacement won't be nonstick due to concerns over the chemicals in them. I've started using Made In stainless pans, and while expensive I'm a convert. But if you are looking for a decent non-stick skillet, you can't go wrong with this one.6 months in, used almost daily, still looks new. I see a couple reviews where people indicated theirs lost the non-stick ability in less time - all I can figure is they don't know how to use or care for them. Absolutely no metal spatula or other implements are used on mine, and it is cleaned simply with hot water (occasionally soapy) and a soft cloth. This is a heavy duty griddle, much sturdier than the $10 cheap ones at the big box stores. I'm careful to not overheat it, so it is still has flat today as when I received it.
