YES--he is from the phenomenal Kraftwerk. BUT it sounds nothing like anything Kraftwerk has ever done. And that's perfectly OK! Electric Music is a beautiful pop music album, loaded with musical perfection, great chord changes and lush harmonies. A little Lennonesque, a little bit of Al Stewart. If there was more pop of this caliber on the radio I might try to turn it on once again, If I am not mistaken, Karl played all or at least most of the instruments on Electric Music. Which includes tons of acoustic guitar. Very nice! It's not ELECTRONIC music. It's ELECTRIC MUSIC. Big difference. Everyone should give this album another shot and listen to it for what it is instead of what it's not. We'll all have to wait a little longer for another Kraftwerk album. But we're pretty used to that by now.
