Description
Electronically suspends the ignition system, allowing the transmission to smoothly shift up or down with just the push of a button. Shift up at partial or full throttle and back down at the touch of a button. There is no need to use the foot shifter and the clutch is used only when starting or stopping. These shifters are definitely JUNK and not worth the money. I bought one about 10 years ago and paid $700 for it, now they're $1,400 and still junk. Nothing has changed. Many different problems with them and I'll name a few... "1". They have an ECU and a kill module that you put under the seat. Both are made in China and last about two months if you're lucky. I set mine back three times and each time it was $250 to 300 dollars to replace them... "2". The buttons that are mounted on the handlebars are not that all weatherproof. Within a very short time the buttons won't connect anymore, or connect sporadically.. "3". The solenoid itself is not that powerful. It has a hard time pulling it from first through neutral into second. Which creates a lot of misshifts coming out of first. An air shifter with 120 PSI coming out of first is much stronger. Save your hard-earned money and stick with air. Pingel has some nice products but this Electric Shifter is absolutely junk.....!
