We have purchased several E-bikes over the years and this one has to be the best out of the bunch. First off, the look and feel of this bike is spot on. It looks killer. My wife gets a massive amount of compliments while riding it.ProsIt comes 85% assembled so you only have to do a small amount of tweaksThis bike is pretty darn solid and has a good amount of pep for going up hillsThe back reflector is an actual break light that flashes to let oncoming traffic know your intention to stop or slow down.It has a headlight so you can ride it at night.Walk through design is great. No more hiking your leg to mount this sucker. You just step throughA good center of gravity that is much lower than other bikes making slow speed maneuvers much easierRear (included) rack works well!ConsDoesn't have a horn?To get the headlight to turn on you need to hold down the + sign key on the controller until it turns on. Con is not having a dedicated button.Things you might want to know...You should adjust the brakes before riding it! If a brake drags you will need to remove it on the backend and adjust it on the front end. On the backend, you will need to remove two screws to pull it completely off the bike. There is a silver bolt to adjust that the rear wheel gets in the way of when it is attached to the bike. Turn it half way out if it is rubbing when you try to ride it and a half turn in if it isn't catching well. This adjustment is paramount to getting your breaks working correctly! It is very important so you don't warp the rotor if it is too open and not squeak and give you too much resistance if it is too closed. You will have to get a chair and have patience! Half turns! Then install again. Test it. It should be right up against the rotor without rubbing it. Once that side (closest to the hub) is done. You can then adjust the wire to bring the other side closer. The front end allows you to do this without removing the caliper because it has better access since the hub isn't in the way. You can get Allen wrenches with "stubby" hooks to do it without removing the rear caliper.Break in your brakes! If you do not, you will have loud squeaky breaks! Nothing the company can do. You did it to yourself! How to break them in? Go down a slow hill with a light break. Not hard enough to stop. Not on and off. Just smooth. Do this a few times. If you get squeaks... Get some sand paper and rub the rotor lightly to make it scuffed a little. Then remove the caliper and the pads. Scuff them as well. Then reinstall.Don't freak out. The brakes are easy to understand and figure out like a pro if you pay attention or look up some helper videos. It is easy to add and it will make them basically run-flat unless you majorly cut the tire in half. Trust me. You will want some. Also a rechargeable portable tire inflation device. A good U-lock bike lock. And some saddle bags to put it all in. Last but not least, sun block! Because you will lose track of time riding this thing for 20+ MILES!I have had to communicate with the seller on Amazon about my bike, and we were able to work amicably together for a good solution. The short of it was after only three weeks of owning it, I had to return my beloved bike.? The seller was gracious and very accommodating even when we had experienced challenges in our communications due to our language differences. I loved my fire red bike! It's power, speed, ease of shifting, and good looks. I received many compliments on her that it was a frequent conversation starter. I found this moth, was reluctantly becoming a social butterfly! But alas, it was just too much bike for me. I purchased two SF20 bikes; a black one for my husband., who loves to ride fast and hard, whereas I am more of a cruiser, who prefers to take it slow and steady. When I am ready and feel I can better handle another E-bike this seller is one I would choose again. I can recommend Vituvia as a reliable E-Bike retailer. Just keep in mind that they are overseas and in a different time zone. We are 12 hours apart, i.e.: 6:04 AM Friday, in China, is 6:04 PM Thursday, in Washington, DC. I live in the midwest and frequently received my replies after 9 pm CST. They are great at getting back to their customers. A few words of advice ~ I am only 5'3 inches and I had to have the seat in the absolute lowest position, which IMO was still a bit too high. I like having my feet fully touching the ground when I stop and am standing. The 2nd is to be patient and respectful to those on the opposite end and you will receive the same! If we treat others with dignity, the Universe will be benevolent!Came boxed well and easy to finish putting it together. Very impressed with the gear shifting with ease and how it sounds solid. Goes very fast if you wish, and so far, not one thing to complain about. The fat tires make me feel safer. I love it!Just received and assembled yesterday. Will be trying out in the next week as we taking them camping. Includes screws that don't seem to have a home. Nothing in assembly instructions but included in the parts list.Love the bike, but the bike seat disagrees with meMy wife is not quite five foot tall. She is able to get on and off this bike easily. And, she is in control when she needs to stop for traffic and stop signs. We had a different Vituvia model previously, but the center bar was too high for her. Also, this one has the hydraulic brake calipers which provide much easier and quieter braking. This bike is simply beautiful and beautiful rideI just received the bike. I put it together as per instructions, The front fork attaches to the frame very poorly, either very loose or to tight a fit. The fork is held on by the folding steering wheel. Bearings and washers are all depending on handlebars. I am an aircraft mechanic by trade... I was hoping for better. Would not buy another one.
